ADVANCE, NC - The Warner Royals Women's Soccer team captured the NCCAA South Region Championship with a dominant 4-1 victory over Carolina University. After a scoreless first half, Warner found their offensive rhythm in the second, securing their place in the NCCAA National Tournament.
Game Leaders:
- Jillian Johnson was a standout, scoring one unassisted goal in the 84th minutes, and assisting on another, showcasing her offensive prowess.
- Kaylee Cooper opened the scoring in the 58th minute, delivering a crucial first goal to break the deadlock.
- Haylee Woodhouse was phenomenal adding to the tally in the 67th minute off an assist from Johnson, solidifying Warner's lead. Continuing the offensive momentum, Woodhouse added another goal, this time unassisted, in the 72nd minute.
