LAKE WALES, FL - In a SUN Conference showdown on November 9, 2024, the Warner University Royals faced a tough battle against the Webber International Warriors at Tye Athletic Field. Despite a strong start, the Royals could not hold off the Warriors, ultimately falling 52-28 in a game filled with dramatic shifts and critical plays.

The game began promisingly for the Royals as they took an early lead, demonstrating solid offensive and defensive play. Evens Valcourt, Adrian Glasgow, Cameron Miller, and Clyde Holland from Warner University all scored touchdowns, showcasing the depth of the team's offensive abilities. Shane Hamm contributed significantly by throwing for 220 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Warner's defense had moments to shine, with D'Arcy Harris making a noteworthy interception with a significant return. Meanwhile, Dillon Hubbard was reliable in special teams, making all his points after touchdown (PAT) attempts. 

Despite the loss, Warner University's efforts were commendable. Looking ahead, the Royals will prepare to face the St. Thomas University Bobcats on November 16, 2024, in Miami Gardens, FL.
