LAKE WALES, FL - The Warner Royals Women's Basketball team faced a challenging contest against Lindsey Wilson College, falling 64-52 at the Turner Athletic Center. Despite a late rally in the fourth quarter, the Royals were unable to overcome Lindsey Wilson's early lead and dominant rebounding.
Game Leaders:
- Courtney Logan led Warner with 18 points, adding 5 rebounds, 3 assists, and 5 steals to her all-around performance.
- Aalyah Watson provided a spark off the bench, scoring 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from beyond the arc.
- Julia Gilbert contributed a team-high 8 rebounds and 6 points, helping Warner battle on the boards.
The Royals struggled offensively in the third quarter but outscored Lindsey Wilson 22-15 in the final period, showcasing resilience and fight. Lindsey Wilson's strong rebounding edge (40-24) and efficient shooting ultimately made the difference.
