LAKE WALES, FL- The Royals faced off against Coastal Georgia University in a Sun Conference matchup, taking place in Lake Wales, FL.
The Royals, looking to honor their seniors on senior night, got out to an eight-point lead in the first half. However, this game was far from over as both teams would trade blows back and forth until the final buzzer.
Dianis Hurtado hit a clutch three to keep the Royals within one point, followed up by
Kalyah Watson who also clutched up for the Royals in the final seconds of the game, hitting a game winning layup to secure a senior night victory for Warner 76-75. In addition to her late game heroics, Watson finished the game with 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists. Both teams struggled to make shots from behind the arch, however, shooting from the charity stripe was dominated by the Royals. Warner made 24 free-throw shots compared to the Mariners 12.
Dianis Hurtado led the Royals in scoring with 20 points on 50 percent shooting. Hurtado also made half of the team's three-pointers and shot a dazzling 6-7 from the free-throw line.
Jasmine Edwards had a great game for the Royals, finishing with another double-double. She tallied 18 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists. Edwards added another great performance to an already all-conference type of season. The Mariners got a good performance tonight from Iesha Rhodin, who finished with 18 points, three rebounds, and three assists. Warner, looking to secure a win on senior night, won the game in walk-off fashion and notched another conference win under their belt. They will look to keep their momentum rolling, when they take on Southeastern Saturday, February 24th.

- Dianis Hurtado followed up her 27-point performance on Saturday, with another 20-point game. Hurtado will look to stay hot heading into the final stretch of the season.
- Jasmine Edwards finished with 18 points, and 13 rebounds, resulting in another double-double for Edwards. The Royals will lean on Edwards to lead the team going into Saturday, as well as the conference tournament.
- The Royals made 24 shots from the charity stripe.
