TEMPLE TERRACE, FL - Warner University's women's soccer team clinched a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Florida College (FL) at Qualls Field. The Royals maintained control throughout the match, ultimately overcoming the Falcons in a closely contested regular season game.
The first half concluded with neither team managing to break the deadlock, going into the break tied at 0-0. The game miraculously opened up in the second half with
Yami Fuentes breaking the impasse at the 53:39 mark.
Reinna Scott doubled Warner's lead with a game-winning goal at 83:38, assisted by
Jessica Alejandre, sealing the win for the Royals.

Haley Houweling was crucial in defending Warner's lead, making several key saves throughout the match. Fuentes was noted not only for her goal but also for being a pivotal player along with Scott, who also provided the decisive edge with her late-game heroics.
