This regular season game marked another tough outing for the Warner Royals, who are searching for their first win of the season.
During the first half, Shorter University quickly took the lead, building a 23-11 advantage by halftime. The Royals faced an uphill battle against a dominant Hawks team that controlled the game from the early minutes. Warner's offensive efforts were spearheaded by
Clyde Holland,
Omarius Davis, and
Zailin Jackson, who each contributed touchdowns. Holland notably added to the team's scoring with a rushing touchdown.
