LAKELAND, FL - The Warner Royals traveled to Lakeland, FL, on September 25, 2024, for a SUN Conference match up against the Southeastern Fire, eager to secure their first conference victory of the season.

The Royals struck first, with Junior midfielder Carson Hoben providing a pinpoint assist to Junior forward Vlad Andersen, who netted his third goal of the season just 11 minutes into the match. However, the Fire quickly rallied, showcasing their offensive prowess by scoring three unanswered goals before halftime, leaving the Royals trailing 3-1 at the break.

Despite the deficit, Warner continued to push forward, displaying both tenacity and determination. Junior goalkeeper Gustavo Infante was a standout on defense, making five crucial saves to keep the Royals in the game. Unfortunately, the comeback efforts fell short, as Southeastern added another goal in the second half, ultimately sealing the match with a final score of 4-1.
