LAKE WALES, FL - In a challenging SUN Conference face-off, the Warner University Royals suffered a tough defeat against the Florida Memorial Lions with a final score of 95-74 at Turner Athletic Center on January 29, 2025.
From the onset, the Lions took an early lead, with key plays marked by solid three-point shooting and strong defense. Despite a spirited performance from the Royals, led by Blaize Darling with 21 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, and
Bryson Castillo who added 20 points including three 3-pointers, the strength of the Lions was overwhelming. The game marked a continuation of the season's tough battles for Warner, now holding a record of 8-13.
