MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – October 18, 2025 — Warner Women's Soccer traveled south for a SUN Conference matchup against St. Thomas on Saturday evening, falling 2–0 despite a resilient defensive performance and steady attacking efforts.
Goalkeeper Haley Van Houweling and the Royals backline delivered an impressive outing in net, recording 10 saves while facing 12 shots from the Bobcats. Her strong presence between the posts helped keep the Royals within reach throughout the full 90 minutes.
Offensively, Warner generated several quality chances led by Lillian Dodge, who posted three shots, including two on target. Gianna Bellomo and Miya Sikhakhane each contributed an additional shot—both putting their attempts on goal—to push the Royals forward in key stretches of the match.
While St. Thomas capitalized on its opportunities, Warner remained competitive in possession and in transition, continuing to build consistency as the conference slate moves toward its final stretch.
The Royals now turn their focus to their next SUN Conference contest as they look to bounce back and secure crucial points down the stretch.
