RECAP: Royals Show Offensive Grit in Road Matchup at Florida Memorial, Fall 49-21

Miami Gardens, Fla. | October 18, 2025 — The Warner University Football team traveled south for a SUN Conference matchup against Florida Memorial University on Saturday afternoon, where the Royals battled throughout but ultimately fell 49–21. Despite the loss, Warner displayed resilience and offensive execution, finding multiple ways to score in a competitive road effort.

Game Summary

After an early Florida Memorial lead, Warner responded in the first half with poise and discipline. Kicker Ethan Silva put the Royals on the board in the second quarter with an 11-yard field goal, cutting the deficit to 14–3.

Moments later, quarterback Raleigh Allen connected with wide receiver Carlos Witherup for a 17-yard touchdown pass, bringing the Royals within four at 14–10.

The offense continued to find success moving the ball behind consistent play from the offensive line and strong running from the backfield. Late in the contest, running back R.L. Ward III found the end zone on a 3-yard rush, making it 49–18.

Warner capped its scoring with a 20-yard field goal from Mackenzie Hart, closing the game at 49–21.

Though the Royals were unable to close the gap, their offensive production and special teams efficiency highlighted continued growth heading deeper into SUN Conference play.
