LAKE WALES, Fla. – October 4, 2025 — Warner Women's Soccer returned to Royals Soccer Field on Saturday for a SUN Conference contest against SCAD Savannah, falling 6–0 despite a determined defensive performance and several strong individual efforts.
Goalkeeper Inna Vannula had a standout outing between the posts, recording 12 saves while facing an intense offensive surge of 23 shots on goal from the Bees. Vannula's resilience kept Warner within reach during extended stretches of the match as SCAD applied sustained pressure.
Offensively, the Royals worked to generate quality looks, led by Jessica Alejandre, who produced two shots—both on target—to challenge the SCAD back line. Alycia Hizer added another shot as Warner continued searching for openings against a compact Bees defense.
While the Royals were unable to break through, the match provided valuable experience as Warner moves deeper into conference play.
The Royals now look ahead to their next SUN Conference matchup at Ave Maria as they continue their fight for momentum in the 2025 campaign.
