LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University Women's Volleyball team earned their first SUN Conference victory of the season in dominant fashion on Saturday afternoon, sweeping the Lions of Florida Memorial University inside the Turner Athletic Center. The Royals controlled the pace from start to finish, winning 3-0 with set scores of 25-19, 25-7, and 25-23.
Warner came out strong in the opening set, establishing an early rhythm that carried through the match. The Royals showcased a balanced offense and sharp serving, highlighted by a commanding 25-7 second set that swung all momentum in their favor. Despite a late push from the Lions in the third, Warner held firm to complete the sweep and secure their first conference win.

The Royals' offense was led by Julia De Jesus, who tallied nine kills, while Julliana Abbade and Rylee Waldie added five apiece. Imar Laboy and Skye McDermott guided the attack with efficient setting performances, and Nova Holmbeck anchored the back row with a team-high seven digs.
With the win, Warner captured their first SUN Conference victory of the 2025 season, marking a strong performance at home.
The Royals will return to action on Saturday, October 11, when they host SUN Conference opponent Keiser University inside the Turner Athletic Center. First serve is set for 2:00 PM.
