LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Royals continue to stay in the win column in the month of December as they beat the Clinton College Golden Bears at home 73-63. This win marks the first time the Royals have won back-to-back games this season.

Julia Gilbert lead the way for the Royals scoring 19 points going 6-10 (60%, FG%) from the field and 5-9 (56%, 3PT%) from beyond the arc. Gilbert also recorded 7 rebounds and shot a perfect 2-2 (100%, FT%) from the FT line. Gilbert's 19 points and 5 made 3PT's are both season highs for the Senior.

Cameron Tripp and Lacienega Crockett both scored 14 points in today's NCCAA match-up. Tripp went 4-10 (40%, FG%) on the day while going 6-7 (85.7%, FT%) from the FT line. She also secured 3 rebounds and recorded 4 assists in today's outing. Crockett went 5-10 (50%, FG%) overall and 2-3 (67%, 3PT%) from three, while also recording 3 assists in today's game.

Saturday's match-up was a battle to control the paint as the Royals scored 38 of their 73 points in the key. The Golden Bears also did their best to attack the basket scoring 32 of their 63 points in the painted area. Warner proved to be the deeper side in the game as the Royals bench produced a total of 26 points to Clinton's 8. Warner shot 26-58 (44.8% FG%), 7-15 (46.7%, 3PT%) and went 14-19 (73.7%, FT%) from the charity stripe in today's highest scoring outing of the season.  

The Royals will look to continue to extend their December winning streak when they head on the road for next weekend's game against Florida National University
