LAKE WALES, FL - The Royals faced the Southeastern Fire for another SUN Conference series, at Daly Field in Lake Wales, FL. Competitive to say the least, the Royals fought hard, but could come away with the win and fell 0-3 in the series.
GAME 1 L (1-9)
Game 1Â saw Warner's starting pitcher,
Avery Garbarek, facing a challenging day on the mound against a sharp Southeastern lineup.Â
Samantha Berube managed to reach home base, scoring thanks to an error that allowed
Madison Schroeder to reach first. This was the only run Warner managed in the game. Meanwhile, the Fire showcased their robust side, pushing their record further with a strong start to the series.Â
GAME 2 L (0-6)
The game saw Southeastern establishing an early lead and control, scoring runs across multiple innings. Warner University, despite a strong pitching effort, could not catch up.
Keirsten Garman, the starting pitcher for Warner, remained on the mound throughout, fighting hard in a full game performance despite the adverse outcome.The Royals struggled to put offensive efforts together against a Strong Southeastern defense. Due to the tough day at the plate, the Royals were left without managing to drive in any runs.Â

Emma-Lea Cabral notably delivered a crucial 2 RBI single in the 4th inning, bringing the team closer to contention. Additionally,
Meagan Bruns distinguished herself by securing a stolen base and a run, although these efforts fell short against a strong Southeastern team.
K. Garman, starting pitcher for the Royals, faced considerable adversity trying to stifle the robust Southeastern batting lineup. Even with the strategic plays and individual brilliances, Warner concluded the SUN series with a discouraging record of 8-12 overall and 1-5 in the conference.
