Royals Make Program History Securing Post-Season Play and Most Sun Conference Wins in a Single Season in Victory Against Webber International, 13-12

LAKE WALES, FL - In an exhilarating SUN Conference Regular Season closing, the Warner University Royals snatched a thrilling victory against Webber International (FL) Warriors on April 12, 2025, with a nail-biting final score of 13-12. This landmark win was held at their home turf in Lake Wales, Fla, under a sunny afternoon sky, which witnessed perhaps one of the most significant matches in Warner Women's Lacrosse history.

By halftime, the Royals led with a score of 6-3, setting the stage for a gripping final half. Players Bailey Dykes, Vanessa Lynch, Sierra Lynn, Anaya Lister, and Abigail Petrillo all contributed to the scoreline, showcasing strong teamwork and determination. Notably, Bailey Dykes scored the game-winning goal, adding to an outstanding personal performance with assists alongside Sierra Lynn and Monserrat Anaya-Lopez.

Krisandra Ford and Kaylin Brown shared responsibilities as goalies, contributing to the team's defensive strength throughout the game. Ford ended the day with a career high 11 saves! This victory is a milestone for the Royals, marking the highest number of conference wins in a season (2), their first victory against the Webber International Warriors, and their first qualification for the SUN Conference Post-season tournament.
