4/30/2025 4:45:00 PM

Kingsport, TN - The final whistle blew as we closed on an exhilarating men's volleyball season for our Royals as they were defeated in the first round of the AAC Conference Championship by the defending champions, Reinhardt University.  For the fourth consecutive year our Royals have qualified to the conference championship.
The season marked by fierce competition, rise of new stars such as All Conference first team selectee Sophomore Darion Graham.  Veteran senior Oscar Jaquez led with experience, while young freshmen talents emerged such as Caleb Welling and Donavan Winsley and impact performance by sophomore Libero Keith Harrison, presenting a bright and exciting future for the program.

Royals' team dynamics, their unity, depth, and sheer determination set a new benchmark for excellence. Beyond the competition, this season highlighted the growth of our men's volleyball program.  Despite facing an injury midway through the season sidelining starting junior setter Ege Gul, the team rallied behind its depth and determination, securing key victories advancing to the AAC Conference championships.

"Preparations for next year are already underway, with finalizing our international recruits, retooling our roster, and setting new goals. With the bar set higher than ever for our program, the future of Warner University Men's Volleyball promises even greater achievements."  Said Coach Davila.

With several key players returning and a strong recruiting class incoming, the team is poised for another AAC Conference appearance and championship push in 2026. The foundation laid this season will be sustaining success moving forward.
