RECAP: Royals Edged By Florida College in Close Battle, 1-0

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University Men's Soccer team battled hard in a tightly contested match against Florida College on Tuesday, September 30th, but came up just short in a 1–0 loss at the Royals' home pitch. Despite generating several quality scoring opportunities, the Royals were unable to break through a tough Falcon defense.

Warner's attack was active throughout the evening, led by Chad McAuliff, who posted two shots—both on goal—testing the Florida College goalkeeper with precision efforts. Jason Flaming added two shots with one on target, while Kona Vega and Adler Stone each recorded a shot on goal as well. Noah Farrington, Marcel Tovar, and Gio Cipolla each contributed a shot to the Royals' offensive pressure.

In goal, Mikey Melvin anchored Warner's defensive effort, tallying six saves on ten shots faced. His strong play between the posts kept the Royals within striking distance until the final whistle.

Although Warner couldn't find the equalizer, the Royals demonstrated discipline and resilience across the pitch, continuing to show growth as they navigate through the heart of their season schedule.
