LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University Men's Basketball team continues SUN Conference play this week with a two-game stretch, beginning on the road before returning home. The Royals will travel to Lakeland, Fla., to face the Southeastern University Fire on Wednesday, January 14, at 7:30 p.m., before hosting the New College of Florida Banyans on Saturday, January 17, at 4:00 p.m. inside the Turner Athletic Center.
Warner enters the week looking to bounce back after a narrow 80–78 loss to SUN Conference opponent St. Thomas University at home in Lake Wales. With conference standings taking shape, the Royals aim to respond with focus and urgency in the upcoming matchups.
The Royals open the week on the road against Southeastern, a traditionally tough conference opponent known for its tempo and offensive efficiency. Warner will look to tighten up defensively and execute in key moments as they seek a road victory in SUN Conference action.
Warner returns home on Saturday to host New College of Florida in another important SUN Conference matchup. Playing in front of the home crowd, the Royals will aim to build momentum and capitalize on their familiarity with the Turner Athletic Center as they look to secure a conference win.
