PREVIEW: Royals Gear Up For Dual SUN Conference Matchups Against Webber International and Coastal Georgia

1/20/2026 12:32:00 PM

LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner University Men's Basketball continues SUN Conference play this week with a pivotal road-and-home stretch, beginning with a trip to Babson Park, Fla. to face conference rival Webber International on Wednesday, January 21, before returning to the Turner Athletic Center to host the College of Coastal Georgia on Saturday, January 24.

The Royals enter the week riding momentum after going 1-1 last week, highlighted by a dominant 98-68 victory over New College of Florida at home. That win not only showcased Warner's offensive firepower, but also marked a memorable week in program history as Jamal Norris and Jack Voth each surpassed the 1,000 career point milestone, becoming the latest Royals to etch their names into the record books.

Warner's matchup with Webber International renews a familiar SUN Conference rivalry, as the Royals look to carry their recent success onto the road. Consistency on both ends of the floor will be key as Warner faces a Webber squad always tough to beat on its home court.

The Royals will then turn their attention to Friday night's home contest against the College of Coastal Georgia, another important SUN Conference showdown. Warner will look to defend its home floor and build on the energy and execution displayed in last week's lopsided win, with the Tye Gymnasium expected to provide a strong home-court advantage.

With conference standings beginning to take shape, this week presents a significant opportunity for Warner Men's Basketball to gain momentum, continue balanced scoring, and make a statement in SUN Conference play.
