LAKE WALES, Fla. - Coming off their 1st SUN Conference victory of the season, the Royals are looking to build upon that strong performance as they to the other side of Crooked Lake to take on rival Webber International Univesity on Wednesday before they return home to host College of Coastal Georgia on Saturday

Warner enters the week after earning their 1st Conference win of the season in a tightly contested matchup with New College of Florida last Saturday, The Royals used a strong 3rd Qtr performance to help propel the team to defeating the Mighty Banyans 58-51. The team saw both strong team and individual performances which included Channel Harrison recording her 1st double-double of the season and Aleyna Sherman recording 21 points, her highest scoring game so far, on the way to securing the win.

The Crooked Lake Rivalry often sees highly competitive contests between the two programs and this week's iteration is sure to continue that tradition with Webber International University coming off a 2 win week earning victories against both New College of Florida, 69-53, and College of Coastal Georgia, 81-64. The Warriors enter the week with an 8-9 overall record and a 3-4 SUN Conference record placing them in a tie for 6th with Coastal Georgia and only 1 place ahead of Warner.

The College of Coastal Georgia will visit the TAC this week coming off a week that saw the Mariners split their two games as they won a non-conference matchup with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College 110-71 before falling to Webber International at home 81-64. The Royals will look to split the season series with Costal Georgia as the two programs faced off earlier this season in a back-and-forth matchup that saw the Mariners emerge with the 68-59 win in November. The Mariners (13-6, 3-4 SUN) will travel to play at Keiser University Wednesday before taking on the Royals in Lake Wales on Saturday.

Warner hopes to use lasts week's win as a springboard entering this week as the Royals have the opportunity to cut into both Coastal Georgia and Webber's 2 game lead in the Conference standings in an effort to bring the team closer to qualifying for the 2026 SUN Conference tournament.
