LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Royals are looking to make a late push to make the SUN Conference Tournament with 3 games this week against St. Thomas University, (RV) Southeastern University and #4 Ave Maria University.

Warner enters the week coming off a hard fought loss on the road to #11 Keiser University 87-76 in their only game last week following the postponing of their game against Ave Maria. The Royals fought hard against the Seahawks last Wednesday, where Warner went on a 20-6 run to tie the game with 12:45 left in the 2nd half after entering halftime down 14. Warner hopes to build off those strong team and individual performances to help propel them into this week against some of the top teams in the NAIA. 

St. Thomas comes into the matchup after losing their only game last week 92-68 to Southeastern at home. When the Bobcats and Royals faced off with one another earlier this season, the two teams battled in a tightly contested matchup in Lake Wales. STU was able to hold off Warner's late pushes to pull off the 80-78 win. Wednesday's game is sure to be another hard fought battle between these two programs.

(RV) Southeastern split their two matchups last week beating St. Thomas on the road and falling to #11 Keiser University on Saturday 81-54. The Royals fell to the Fire in a tightly contested 95-87 game at Southeastern on January 14th. Warner will look to take what they learned in their last matchup to pull off the upset.

#4 Ave Maria University won their one game last week against Florida Memorial University 96-74 at home. The Gyrenes have only lost one game against SUN Conference opponents this year, which was against Southeastern in a high scoring 96-91 game on January 21st. The Royals will lean into their defense to slow down the Gyrenes offense to knock off the #4 team in the NAIA.
