Lake Wales, Fl. – February 27, 2026 – The Warner University beach volleyball team delivered a strong performance taking down three conference teams, hosted by Webber International University. The Royals secured three key victories against Brenau University, Spartanburg Methodist College, and Truett McConnell.

Warner opened the event with a 5-0 forfeit victory over Brenau University, giving them a solid start to conference play.

Match Recap:

The Royals dominated a 5-0 sweep over Spartanburg Methodist. From start to finish, the pairs performed with control and determination. Pair 4, Adeline Dumont and Ashlyn Anderson controlled their match and won (21-11, 21-17). Playing Pair 5, Julia De Jesus and Imar Laboy showed that they will be a solid duo for the Royals this season with a two set win over SMC (21-9, 21-5).

The Royals closed out the weekend with a 4-1 victory over Truett McConnell, securing their third win of the tournament. Pair 1, Leah Cooley and Ashlyn Fassnach, showed great determination in their straight-set victory, leading Warner with a 21-19, 21-18 win over TMU. Pair 3, Lydia Coggins and Laci Gibson, fought to secure the Royals with another win over TMU in a thrilling three set match (13-21, 21-17, 15-9). Pair 5 dominated both matches to ensure wins for the Royals victories.
