LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Royals will kick off the final month of the regular season on Wednesday when they travel to West Palm Beach to take on the #11 Keiser University Seahawks. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm at Massimino Court on Keiser University's campus.
Warner enters the week after coming off a much deserved bye weekend and are hoping ot use their restful time off to help them upset the Seahawks on the road. The Royals have won 2 of their last 4 games in the SUN Conference earning home wins against New College of Florida, 98-68, and College of Coastal Georgia, 72-60.Â
Keiser will come into the matchup off a 2 win week earning a non-conference win against Florida College, 78-63, last Tuesday and a SUN Conference victory over New College of Florida, 102-55, on Saturday. The Seahawks have a high scoring offense that looks to attack inside with 80% of their shots coming from within the 3-point arc.Â
Wednesday's game will hopefully be a redemption game for the Royals as Warner and Keiser faced off earlier this season on November 22nd that ended in the Seahawks favor with a final score of 82-58. The Royals will lean into their defense to slow down Keiser's high paced offense to pull of the upset as they cotninue to work towards making the SUN Conference Tournament.
