WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Warner traveled to West Palm Beach on Wednesday to kick off the month of February to face-off with the #11 Keiser University Seahawks. Despite a tremendous comeback in the 2nd half, the Royals efforts were not enough to come out with the win as they would fall 87-76.
The Royals found themselves trailing at the half by a score of 46-32 and see that deficit increase to 16 early on in the 2nd half. All season, Warner has had a no quit attitude and Wednesday night was no different. The Royals went on an incredible 20-6 run to tie the game at 57 with 12:45 remaining in the game. After both teams battled throughout the half, the Seahawks were able to pull away to earn the 87-76 win.
Warner once again showed how well rounded their offense is as 4 of their starters went on to score 10 or more points on Wednesday night.
Bryson Castillo and
Marcel Pace both scored a game high of 19 points with Castillo shooting 7-for-13 overall and 3-for-6 from beyond the arc and Pace hit a career best 5 3-pointers in Wednesday's game.
