WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - The Royals continued SUN Conference play on Friday when they kicked off a 3 game series against #14 Keiser University. Despite their best efforts the Royals would fall to the top 25 Seahawks by a score of 8-to-0.
Diana Martin extended her on-base streak on Friday to 10 games reaching base twice going 1-2 with a single and drew a walk in a game where the Royals offense was limited by a strong Keiser defense. The Senior Catcher's team leading on-base streak extends back to February 28th's double-header at St. Thomas University and has reached base in all but 2 games so far this season while recording a team leading .493 on-base percentage.
Grace Derstine and
Autumn Calcagno also each recorded a hit against one of the top pitching staffs in the NAIA.Â
