RECAP: Royals Men's Volleyball Wins Two AAC Matches, Takes a Set From #12 Reinhardt University

MARIETTA, Ga. - The Warner University Men's Volleyball team delivered a strong weekend in Appalachian Athletic Conference Pod play hosted at Life University. The Royals earned two key victories against Life University and Truett McConnell University and pushed nationally ranked #12 Reinhardt University to 4 sets in an inspiring performance that highlighted the Royals' growing momentum in Conference competition.

The Royals opened the Conference Pod with a 4 set win over Life University, (25-22, 25-20, 18-25, 25-20), showcasing depth, energy and resilience across the roster. Behind balanced attacking and strong defensive execution the Royals wrapped up Pod play with another 4 set victory over Truett McConnell University, (20-25, 25-22, 25-12, 27-25). Warner controlled both matches, improving their AAC record to 5-7 as they continue to build confidence and momentum as the team approaches the final weeks of the regular season.

Against #12 Reinhardt University, the Royals proved they could compete with the best, taking a set from the top-tier opponent before ultimately falling in 4 sets, (25-22, 20-25, 18-25, 17-25). The team's consistent serving pressure and net presence kept Reinhardt on their heels throughout the night.

Head Coach Pedro Davila praised his squad's fight saying, "Our guys showed tremendous belief and composure this weekend. Taking a set from a nationally ranked opponent proves how far we've come and winning two Conference matches in the same stretch shows we're trending in the right direction."

Even in taking a single set from a powerhouse like Reinhardt, Warner's performance indicates a team evolving into a legitimate Conference contender - a classic case of belief meeting hard-earned progress.

With this strong showing, Warner improves it's AAC standing as the regular season nears its close. The Royals will look to carry their energy and confidence into their next match as they prepare for a postseason run.
