LAKE WALES, Fla. - Warner Women's Lacrosse remained at home on Friday, March 6, hosting New England College at the Tye Athletic Field in Lake Wales, Florida. Despite a 17-7 result, the Royals continued to show determination and growth as they navigated a competitive early-season stretch.
Warner battled throughout the contest, creating offensive opportunities and maintaining effort on both ends of the field. The Royals found success through ball movement and transition play, working to break down New England College's defense while continuing to improve their execution.
Anaya Lister led the Royals offensively with two goals while also contributing an assist, playing a key role in Warner's attack. Morgan Van Auken added an assist as the Royals continued to share the ball and generate scoring chances.
Defensively, Haylee Woodhouse turned in a strong performance, leading the team with four ground balls and making her presence felt across the field. Makenna Day and Woodhouse each recorded a caused turnover, highlighting Warner's continued defensive pressure.
The Royals remain focused on building consistency and momentum as they continue their homestand and prepare for upcoming competition.
