LAKE WALES, Fla. - The Royals kicked off their final SUN Conference series of the regular season with a shutout victory against Webber International University on Friday. Warner's 3 runs in the 1st Inning were enough to earn the win while
Elle Hernandez was dominant in the circle throwing a complete game shutout to earn her 10th win of the season.
Warner was able to string together multiple strong at-bats to start the game and sent 8 batters to the plate to give the Royals an early 3-to-0 lead after the 1st Inning.
Jillian Hudson brought in the Royals first 2 runs of the game when she hit a 2 RBI single into left-center field that scored
Alisha Wagoner and

Lauren Fernald later sent Hudson home on an RBI single into center field to give the Royals their 3rd run of the evening. Fernald had her best day at the plate on Friday hitting a perfect 3-for-3 on the day with 1 RBI and recorded the Royals only stolen base in the win over their Crooked Lake Rivals.

Friday's win also marks the 2nd time in her collegiate career that Hernandez has recorded a complete game shut out with her 1st coming earlier this season at University of Fort Lauderdale on February 3rd.
