Warner Flag Football Claims Program's First-Ever SUN Conference Tournament Championship in Victory over #3 Keiser Seahawks

LAKE WALES, Fla. – The Warner University Royals capped off a historic and undefeated season on April 25, 2026, defeating No. 3 Keiser University 25-14 at Tye Athletic Field to claim the program's first-ever SUN Conference Tournament Championship.

With the victory, Warner finished a perfect 20-0 overall record and 11-0 mark in SUN Conference play, completing a remarkable championship sweep that included both the regular season and tournament titles.

In a highly anticipated rematch of the regular season finale, the Royals once again showcased their poise and execution in a championship setting. Warner struck early and maintained control throughout, never relinquishing momentum against one of the conference's top programs.

Quarterback Kathryn Hutchinson, named the Tournament MVP, led the Royals with another efficient and composed performance, directing multiple scoring drives and spreading the ball across a deep receiving unit. Warner's offense capitalized on key opportunities, finishing drives and sustaining possession to keep Keiser's offense off balance.

Defensively, the Royals delivered when it mattered most. Warner limited big plays, applied steady pressure, and came up with timely stops to protect its lead. A key interception helped swing momentum in the Royals' favor, while the defense held Keiser to just 14 points in the championship contest.

The victory not only secured the SUN Conference Tournament title but also cemented Warner's place among the nation's elite, completing a flawless run through conference competition and continuing one of the most dominant seasons in program history.
