LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner University Athletics continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence beyond the playing field, earning recognition as an NAIA Gold Champions of Character Five-Star Institution for the third consecutive academic year. The Royals received the prestigious Gold (Five-Star) designation for the 2025-26 academic year, marking three straight years of the highest honor within the NAIA Champions of Character program after previously earning Gold recognition in 2023-24 and 2024-25.

Warner was one of just four institutions from the Sun Conference to earn the NAIA Gold Five-Star Champions of Character designation for the 2025-26 academic year, underscoring the department's continued commitment to fostering a culture of integrity, leadership, and service throughout its athletics programs.

The NAIA Champions of Character Five-Star Award recognizes institutions that intentionally promote the NAIA's five core values—Integrity, Respect, Responsibility, Sportsmanship, and Servant Leadership—through athletics, campus engagement, and community outreach. Schools are evaluated on a comprehensive scorecard that measures character-driven initiatives, student-athlete participation, professional development, and overall commitment to fostering a culture of integrity both in competition and throughout campus life.

The recognition highlights a memorable 2025-26 academic year for Warner Athletics, one that featured historic competitive success alongside continued investment in leadership development and service. Warner captured multiple conference titles throughout the year, including the program's first-ever NAIA National Championship in Women's Flag Football, while student-athletes remained actively engaged in community service projects, campus initiatives, leadership programming, and faith-based outreach opportunities.
