Brandon Crosby is a native of Mechanicsville, VA. He is a Ministry major. 

High School: Lettered all four years in baseball … Also played football at Atlee, earning second-team all-conference and honorable mention all-region honors as a senior.

Community College: Played two seasons at Prince George’s Community College in Maryland … As a freshman, was named an NJCAA Division III first-team All-American … Also was an NJCAA Region XX first team selection, Region XX all-tournament team and All-Maryland JUCO selection that season … Led the nation (NJCAA Division III) with 45 steals and ranked fourth in the nation in all levels of JC ball … Batted .440 with 71 runs scored, 81 hits, 17 doubles, two triples, four homers and 49 RBI … Posted a hit in 42 of the team’s 49 games, including 13 two-hit games and 12 three-hit performances … Stole two bases in a game 13 times … As a sophomore, batted .361 with six homers, 28 RBI and 16 stolen bases in 33 games played … Was also selected to the All-Region XX first team his sophomore season.

Norfolk State University: Played in 48 games and started 44 times in his first season with the Spartans … Played both infield and outfield … Started 22 times at second base, six at third base, 15 in left field, and once in right field … Hit .220 with 11 extra-base hits, including a pair of home runs … Drove in 19 runs, scored 22 times and stole 19 bases … Was second on the team and third in the MEAC in steals. In 2020 he was the starting Shortstop for 7 out of the 10 games. The other three games he played center field. Season ended short because of Covid.
