William Bethel

Coach Bethel is a former player and graduate of Warner University in 2019. He is entering his 4th season on the staff .This year he will Serve as the Linebackers Coach. Bethel will also serve as the Head Equipment Manager for the Royals. He received his Bachelor’s degree in May of 2019 in Sports Management and Finished his master’s degree in Management in Science in 2021. 
 
Bethel played his college career at Warner University as an outside linebacker/defensive end from 2015 to 2019. As an athlete at Warner, he went on to receive numerous awards throughout his career. In 2017, he received the “Second Team All Sun Conference Defense” award, the “1st Team All NCCAA defense” award while also receiving First Team NCCAA All- American. He also received the Warner University Defensive Lineman “MVP” award. Bethel was a Defensive Captain for two seasons. As a senior, Bethel was Warner University's first ever NAIA All Star Football selection. The game consisted of some of the top NAIA players from across the country. He also received the “Second Team All NCCAA” award. Bethel finished his career with over 100 career tackles, 15 career sacks, 42 tackles for loss, 8 forced fumbles and 1 interception.

Bethel is from Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He is a graduate of Dillard high school where he played football and was an honor student.
