  • Title
    M&W Volleyball Graduate Assistant
Blake Rosen joined the Warner University men’s and women’s volleyball coaching staff as a graduate assistant in August 2024. In his role, Blake supports the program through operations, player development, and mentorship, striving to share his love for the game with young athletes.

Originally from Northern Virginia and now residing in Brooksville, Florida, Blake grew up inspired by his father, Edward Rosen, who modeled what it means to be a truly selfless, humble, and amazing father. Through his actions, Edward also instilled in Blake the values of hard work, unwavering integrity, and relentless grit. Blake’s immediate family also includes his mother, Kimberly Rosen, and his sister, Tiffani Rosen.

Blake’s volleyball journey began in high school when he started playing club at 15 years old, immediately falling in love with the game. He earned a national tournament bid with his team and competed at the USAV Junior National Championships during his sophomore and junior years. Blake’s development continued when he participated in the USAV High Performance pipeline, learning from some of the top coaches in the country.

Blake continued his playing career at the collegiate level, competing for three years at Concordia University Chicago, where he served as varsity captain during his junior season. That year, the team made its first-ever appearance and team win in the conference tournament. During his time there, Blake set the university record for most career digs and total digs in a season. Before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Management in 2023, Blake also gained valuable coaching experience as an assistant coach for Chicago Elite’s 18-2 girls club team.
Blake later transferred to Warner University, where he continued his collegiate career playing in the 2024 spring season and was named varsity captain. After that season, he transitioned into his current role as a graduate assistant coach while continuing to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration.

Blake enjoys mentoring young athletes, bridging the small age gap, and sharing his passion and knowledge of the game. His favorite Bible verse, Ecclesiastes 3:1, reflects his perspective on life: "There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens."

Outside of volleyball, Blake enjoys spending time with friends and family and continuing to play the sport he loves.
