Steve Lord

Steve Lord was named Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Warner University in the fall of 2025, bringing more than 25 years of coaching experience across the high school, collegiate, and semi-professional levels.

A native of Tucson, Arizona, Lord has a proven track record of building competitive programs and developing athletes both on and off the field. He spent three seasons as the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at LeTourneau University, where his student-athletes earned multiple All-Region honors, and four years at Lincoln Christian University, serving as Head Coach for both the men’s and women’s programs. Prior to his collegiate coaching career, Lord dedicated 18 years to high school soccer in Arizona, where he was recognized as Arizona High School Coach of the Year.

Beyond the sidelines, Lord’s playing career also reflects his deep passion for the game. A standout center forward, he competed at both Pima College and the University of Arizona before moving into the semi-professional ranks with FC Tucson.

Lord values player development, mentorship, and instilling a culture of excellence in his teams. His wealth of experience at multiple levels of the game equips him to lead the Warner Royals into a new era of competition.

Steve is the proud husband to Linda and father to Jacen, Mikey, Keegan, and Sam.
