Matt Thrall, MS, LAT, ATC, is in his fifth year with Warner University. Upon completion of his M.S. program he began his career in August of 2016 working for Providence Christian College in Pasadena, California. He was the Head Athletic Trainer there and was in charge of all sports the University offered, which include: Men’s and Women’s soccer, Men’s and Women’s XC, Women’s volleyball, and baseball. In January of 2017, Matt began working at Capistrano Valley High School in San Juan Capistrano, California while also continuing to work at Providence. At Warner, Matt is going on his fifth fall season working with Women’s soccer. In the spring of 2018, Matt worked with the Men’s volleyball team. Since the academic year of 2018-2019, Matt has primarily worked with Women’s soccer in the fall and baseball in the spring.
Matt has completed courses in Postural Restoration Institute (myokinematic restoration and pelvic restoration), upper and lower quarter Mulligan Technique, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), Positional Release Technique, IV Administration Course, and Gait analysis. He also attended the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainers Society annual meeting and symposium in 2016 and 2017. Matt has been a member of the NATA since September of 2014 and has been BOC certified since April 2016.
Matt is engaged to his fiancée, Adrienne. They plan to get married in the central Florida area in May of 2022. They met in fall of 2017 and started dating in summer of 2019. In his free time, Matt enjoys golf, going to Disney and/or Universal, any kind of water sports behind a boat, hanging with friends, playing with his dog, Cali, and of course hanging out with Adrienne. Matt played baseball for NCAA DIV II California Baptist University where he was part of back to back national champion teams. His dream job would be as an athletic trainer for the Los Angeles Dodgers.
