Royals Down Conquistadors for Fourth Straight Win



HIALEAH, Fla. - Warner University men's basketball team picked up their fourth straight win to open the 2014-15 season on Friday night.  The Royals had four players in double figures and defeated Florida National University 80-67.

The Royals led at the break 41-37and were an even 50% from the field in the first half with three players scoring at least 10 points.  Eddie Delegal led the way with 13 points on 4-of-8 shooting.  Warren Hall and Bladimyr Santiago each finished the first half with 10 points.

In the second half, Hall was 7-of-12 from the field scoring 17 points.  Jamie Anderson tallied 10 of his 12 points in the second half as the Royals maintained their advantage coming away victorious 80-67.

Hall led all scorers with 27 points on 10-of-19 shooting.  He also had six rebounds and two steals.  Delegal finished with his first double-double of season totaling 18 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.

Santiago had 14 points in the win as well as three blocked shots.  Anderson finished with 12 points and five assists.

On Monday, Nov. 10, the Royals keep to the road as they travel to Temple Terrace, Fla. to face Florida College.  The Royals opened their season against the Falcons in the Turner Athletic Center on Oct. 28 with a 78-55 win.  Monday's rematch will tip-off at 7 p.m.
