ResultsVALDOSTA, Ga. – Warner University women's golf team finished tenth at the Thomas University Fall Invitational at the Kinderlou Forest Golf Club earlier this week. The Lady Royals shot a two-round 774 (406-368) in the ten-team field that included six teams currently ranked in the top 25 of the NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 poll.
Dalton State University (Ga.) and SCAD Savannah split the co-tournament championship team title electing to forego a playoff. Both teams finished with a two round total 613 (+37) en route to the co-tournament title.
Diane Lim of the College of Coastal Georgia was the low individual medalist after carding a 146 (71-75).
The Lady Royals were led by
Marlique Hield who fired a 171 (90-81).
Mackenzie Laboyteaux was eight shots back with a 179 (90-89).
Megan Fernander shot a 196 (101-95) and
Crysta Camara shot a 228 (125-103).
The Lady Royals will be back in action Oct. 19-20 at the Faulkner Fall Invitational hosted by Faulkner University (Ala.) in Montgomery, Ala.
