HARDEEVILLE, S.C. – In their first road game of the 2015 season, Warner University women's soccer team lost to SCAD Savannah 4-1 on Thursday night. The loss is the third of the season for the Lady Royals dropping their record to 2-3 overall and 0-3 in Sun Conference play. The Bees are now 6-3-2 on the year and 3-0 in league play.

Naybet Febo got the Lady Royals' offense going in the first half with Murray's seventh goal of the season in the 16
th minute. Febo picked up her fifth assist, all coming for Murray goals.
The Lady Royals held the 1-0 advantage for nearly 15 minutes before SCAD netted the equalizer in the 30
th minutes. It was an even first half for both clubs as the
Lady Royals held an 8-7 shot advantage and a 2-1 lead in corner kicks. The 1-1 score remained after the first 45 minutes of action.
The Bees came out in the second half and scored the go ahead goal in the 62
nd minute. Four minutes later they extended their lead to 3-1 and in the 87
th minute they scored the game's final goal to make it 4-1.
Despite the first half shot advantage, the Lady Royals were outshot 15-4 in the second half. Goal keeper
Sarah Bergkvist made seven saves in the second half alone and finished the game with 10 for the Lady Royals.
Murray led the offensive attack with four shots on goal. Febo and
Maria Diaz both finished with two shots each as well.
The Lady Royals stay on the road for their next Sun Conference match on Saturday, Oct. 3, in Thomasville, Ga. against Thomas University. Kick off for that contest is set for 12 p.m.
