LAKE WALES, Fla. – Warner University women's volleyball team rolled to their 13
th straight victory on Friday night. The Lady Royals swept Florida Memorial University 3-0 (25-6, 25-17, 25-18) to improve to 16-4 overall and are now 11-0 in Sun Conference play with one game to go. The Lions fall to 6-18 overall and 1-10 in league play.
The Lady Royals never trailed in the first two sets jumping out to a 2-0 lead.
Angie Pagan-Perez led the way with six kills and 11 digs through the first two sets. As a team the Lady Royals opened the match with a .391 hitting percentage in the first set.
Breeanna Navarro led the charge in the third set with five kills and finished the match with a game-high 10 kills.
Jenna Swaffer finished with 28 assists and three kills.
Adrienne Czaplewski had seven kills, 12 digs and three service aces. Defensively, the Lady Royals had eight blocks in the match.
Ivelisse Saint-Clair led with 2.5 total blocks.
The Lady Royals close out the 2015 regular season on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. against St. Thomas University. A win against the Bobcats will clinch the regular season conference title for the Lady Royals. Fans can watch the match live by clicking here.
