BABSON PARK, Fla. – For the second time this season, Warner University men's basketball team defeated their crosstown rivals Webber International University in overtime. The Royals'
Warren Hall tied the game at 87-87 as time expired at the end of regulation forcing the second straight overtime game in the rivalry series. In the overtime period, the Royals outscored the Warriors 17-12 and improved to 17-7 overall and 7-7 in The Sun Conference. The Warriors drop to 10-16 and 7-7 in league play.

Keevis Tukes forced a turnover on the Warriors' opening possession, Warner's
Eddie Delegal opened the scoring with a fast break dunk and the game took off. The Royals jumped out to an 8-3 lead after three minutes of action only to see the Warriors scored six straight points and take their first lead, 9-8, at the 15:10 mark.
Both teams shot better than 40% from the field in the first half. The Royals were 2-of-6 from behind the arc while the Warriors shot 4-of-10 from long distance.
At the 7:54 mark of the first half, Webber's Daniel Coffey tied the game at 19-19. Over the next five minutes the Warriors jumped out their largest lead of the game, 34-24, and took a 39-33 lead into halftime.
Eddie Delegal led the Royals first half scoring effort with nine points.
Antonio Ansley followed eight points off the bench.
The Warriors had their second 10 point lead of the game just over a minute into the second half, 45-35.
Warren Hall brought the Royals all the way back with a jumper in the paint at the 12:03 mark that tied the game at 54-54. On their next trip down the court, Delegal drained a three pointer and the Royals had their first lead, 57-56, since 7:54 in the first half.
The lead was short lived as the Warriors retook the lead and led by as many as nine points in the final seven minutes. In the final minute the Warriors were out in front by seven as they looked to close out the game. Delegal started the comeback with 31 seconds on the clock making it a five point game. Then after forcing a turnover, Delegal was fouled sending him to the line with 24 seconds left.
Delegal made both free throws to narrow the score 85-82. Webber's Brian Pace made two free throws of his own with 21 seconds left and the lead was at five again.
Jamie Anderson hit a huge three pointer and the deficit was down to two points with 15 seconds left on the clock. Following a timeout by Warner, Delegal forced the biggest turnover of the game and
Warren Hall scored the game-tying basket as time expired.
In the overtime period, the Royals jumped out to a 97-90 lead in the first three minutes and never looked back. The Warriors fought back to within two points with 30 seconds to go but the Royals hit five free throws in the final 25 seconds to close out the game.
Warren Hall scored three points in the first half but poured in 25 points in the second half and overtime period to lead the Royals.
Eddie Delegal finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds. He also had three steals that led to big points for the Royals.
Antonio Ansley scored 15 points off the bench and
Jamie Anderson scored 12 points.
Josh Ellis also reached double digits with 11 points in the win.
On Saturday, Feb. 14, the Royals travel to Miami Gardens, Fla. to take on Florida Memorial University. Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
