Box Score WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.- The Royals women's volleyball team traveled to West Palm to take on Keiser Seahawks on Saturday in their final regular season match. With the third place seed in the conference tournament on the line, the Royals looked to beat Keiser and secure a matchup with St. Thomas in the conference tournament. The Royals came out of the gates hot as they used a pair of 4 point runs to go up 17-9 in the first set. Keiser would make a bit of a comeback, but the Royals were able to finish the set off with a win 25-22 over the Seahawks. Set two was a bit more even throughout as the Royals struggled at times, but a 7-3 run at the end of the set secured a 25-21 win for Warner and a commanding 2-0 lead in the match. Set three was a back and forth set until midway through the Royals used a 4 point run and a 6-2 run to finish off the Seahawks in a 25-20 set win and 3-0 sweep over Keiser.
The Royals were led offensively by
Adrienne Czaplewski who had 20 kills and hit .326 in the match. Angie Pagan Perez added 11 kills and Ivelisse Saint Clair added 6 kills with no errors to hit .429 in the match.
Raygen Lee led the setters with 24 assists and Kiara Rivera Escudero dropped in 16 assists as well. The Royals defense was led by
Thalia Mendez who had 16 digs and Pagan Perez who had 13 digs.
Warner will be the three seed in the Sun Conference tournament beginning on November 11. Warner will play St. Thomas on Friday November 11 at 2 pm on the campus of host Webber International University.
