Women's Basketball Earns Victory Over Eagles

Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Warner Royals women's basketball team won their second victory of the season defeating the Trinity Baptist Eagles 69-43 on Tuesday night. The Royals were cruising in the first half over the Eagles but some sloppy play brought the Eagles back into the game at the end of the first quarter. The Royals were able to recover and take a 28-24 lead into halftime. The Eagles were able to hang with the Royals a bit in the third quarter but the Royals were still able to extend their lead by three points. However, the fourth quarter belonged to the Royals as they outscored Trinity Baptist 25-6 en route to a 69-43 victory and their second win of the year. The Royals were led by Cierra Wilson who had 19 points going 8-11 from the field as well as leading the team in assists with 4. Charissa Broadway was the only other Royal in double digits with 10 points shooting 4-8 from the floor. 

Warner will host its annual Lady Royals Classic this Friday and Saturday November 11 and 12. On Friday November 11, the Royals will host Bob Jones University at 5 pm.
