Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.- The Royals women's basketball team hosted the Trinity College Tigers on Saturday afternoon. In their previous meeting, the Tigers got the best of the Royals, however, the Royals got revenge on the Tigers as they came away with a 78-61 win. A big first quarter from the Royals propelled them into a five point halftime lead, 32-27. The Royals came out shooting hot in the second half as they scored 46 points to route the Tigers. The Royals ended up shooting 43% from the field and 36 % from the three point line in the second half. Warner was led in the game by Kaley Schmick with 18 points along with Charisa Broadway and Sara Poehlman who both added 14 points. With the win, the Royals improve to 8-12 on the season. They will next host St. Thomas Bobcats on January 26 at 7 pm.
