Box Score 2 PARKVILLE, Mo.- The Warner men's volleyball team traveled up to Park University for four matches over two days. The first day pitted the Royals against Dordt College first. The Royals had little trouble with Dordt as they were able to roll past them in a three set sweep (25-15, 25-25, 25-17). The Royals got big games from
Gillan Octave and
Alexander Lazo who both had 10 kills apiece.
Martin Krueger dropped in 31 assists for the Royals while
Hui Ding led the match with 19 digs.
The second match of the day did not fair too well for the Royals as they ran into host Park University. Warner lost a close first set 25-22 and then came right back to tie the match up at one set with a 25-20 set two victory. Park then was able to handle the Royals in the next two sets, winning them 25-18 and 25-14 to win the match 3-1 over the Royals. Warner got a huge game from Henrik Falk Lauden with 17 kills along with
Gillan Octave who had 10 kills.
Martin Krueger added in 34 assists and
Hui Ding led the team with 15 digs. The Royals finish day one 1-1 and are currently 1-1 on the season. Warner will be back in action early tomorrow with their first match at 9 am against Ottawa University then again at 1 pm against Morningside.
