Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SYLVANIA, Oh.- The men's volleyball team wrapped up their final two matches of the Lourdes Invitational on Saturday afternoon. Their first match of the day was against Lawrence Tech Blue Devils. The Royals would start set one even with Lawrence Tech but then use a 6-0 run mid-way to go up 14-9. The Royals would once again use another big run and score 7 of 8 points to go up 23-15 late in the set. Warner would take set one form the Blue Devils 25-18. In set two, the Royals would jump out to a huge 13-5 lead on the Blue Devils and never look back. Warner would end up taking the second set 25-15 and a big 2-0 lead in the match. The Royals would once again dominate the Blue Devils in the third and final set, taking a big lead early on and never letting up. The final set would finish with the Royals on top 25-15 and sweep Lawrence Tech 3-0 in the match. The Royals were led in the match by Dylan Sechrest and Alex Lazo with 9 kills each. Manuel Panchame led the Royals with 32 assists and Bruno Teixeira led with 10 digs. 
    The final match of the tournament pitted the Royals up against the Missouri Valley Vikings. The first set was very evenly played from both teams as the Royals and Vikings were within two points of each other for much of the set. The Royals went ona 5-1 run late in the set to finish off the Vikings 25-22 in set one. Set two featured much of the same back and forth even play but this time with the Royals using an early 5-0 run to set up another close victory, 25-21 over the Vikings. With the Royals up 2-0 in the match, the Vikings refused to go away. The Royals dominated early, taking a 12-3 lead in the set. However, the Vikings would chip away at the Royals and end up coming back for a 28-26 set three win over Warner. The Royals would once again come out strong in the fourth set and would once again see the Vikings come back and make the game close. However, this time the Royals did not waiver at the end of the set and would finish off the Vikings with a 25-19 set four win and a 3-1 match victory over Missouri Valley. The Royals improved to 8-4 on the season after the weekend. The Royals were led in the match by Henrik Faulk Lauten with 14 kills, Martin Krueger with 39 assists, and Hui Ding with 16 digs.
