Box Score LAKE WALES, Fla.- The men's volleyball team took on the Cincinnati Christian Eagles to open up a stretch of three games in three days this week. The Royals finished with an easy 3-0 sweep of the Eagles on Wednesday night. The first set was played very evenly for most of the set as the Royals and Eagkes found themselves tied at 17 late in the set. The Royals would go down 19-18 the out score the Eagles 7-2 to finish off the set with a 25-21 win. The second set was a little different story as the Royals jumped ahead early on the Eagles with a 15-9 lead mid-way through the set. The Royals would then never look back and build up a 22-15 lead and eventually win the set 25-21 to take a big 2-0 lead in the match over the Eagles. In set three, the Royals did not play around with the Eagles as they jumped out on them early in the set with a 7-3 lead that would quickly turn into a 17-9 lead as the Royals went on a 10-6 run over the Eagles. The Royals did not allow the Eagles to come back at all in this set to win conviningly 25-17 in the set and 3-0 in the match. The Royals were led in the match by Henrik Faulk Lauten with 11 kills,
Martin Krueger with 26 assists, and
Hui Ding with 11 digs. Warner is back in action in the TAC Thursday night at 7 pm against Saint Ambrose University.
