Royals Go 2-0 Over The Weekend

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky.- The Royals men's volleyball team was away again this weekend as they went up north to play Campbellsville University on Friday then on to Cincinnati Christian on Saturday. The Royals first took care of business against the Tigers from Campbellsville on Friday, winning 3-0. The Royals jumped ahaead early in the first set, but then pulled away towards the end of the set, going on a 7-1 run to win 25-15. In set two, the Royals used a 9-1 run in the middle of the set to go uo 19-8 on the Tigers, before disposing of them 25-13 in the second set. With a huge 2-0 lead on the Tigers, the Royals looked to sweep. In the third, the Tigers fought ot stay in the match. With the score 16-15 in favor of the Royals, Warner went on a 5-1 run to propel themselves to a 25-20 set win and a 3-0 sweep of the Tigers. The Royals were led by Henrik Faulk Lauten with 12 kills and 5 digs while Martin Krueger had 20 assists in only two sets. 
On Saturday, the Royals took on Cincinnati Christian and was able to sweep them 3-0 as well to go 2-0 on the weekend and come back home with a 13-4 overall record.
