LAKE WALES – FLA. This evening the Women's Basketball Team faced off with the Johnson University Suns. The Lady Royals remain perfect at home with their fourth win in the Turner Athletic Center by a score of 62-57.

Three Royals were able to score double digit points tonight – Cheyenne Daphney led the way, putting up 19 points and 8 rebounds, Randi Chandler found the hoop for 12 points with 10 total rebounds, and D'asia James totaled 10 points with 10 rebounds and went perfect at the free-throw line making all 4 of her shots.

Warner was able to pull themselves ahead for the win after The Suns held the lead for the majority of the game.

Despite struggling with their shooting percentages, The Royals pulled out the win, improving their record to 5-2.

Beginning Thursday afternoon, The Royals will take on their first conference opponent of the year as Ave Maria will travel to Lake Wales for a home matchup at 5:30 PM.
