MT. Vernon, GA. – The Lady Royals traveled north tonight to take on the Brewton-Parker College Barons, unfortunately the Royals fell to the Barons fell 84-57 and suffered their first loss of the 2018-2019 season.
 
Once Again #1 Daijah Turner led the way for the Royals, scoring 19 points in 38 minutes of play. Turner leads the Royals with 58 points and 21 assists on the year.
 
The Barons leading scorer was #24 Joy Hadley, who led all scorers with 21 points.
 
Daijah Turner played the most minutes out of any player that saw the floor, tallying 38 minutes, only sitting 2 minutes the entire game.  
 
The Lady Royals struggled from the field tonight only shooting 30%, they have been averaging over 38% from the line so far this year.
 
Look for them to bounce back from this tough loss and be ready to go again tomorrow against Middle Georgia State at Noon.
