Women's Soccer - Royals Fall to the Offensive Powerhouse of Oklahoma Wesleyan

KISSIMMEE - FLA. In their second game of pool play in the NCCAA National Championship, The Lady Royals suffered another loss, this time at the hands of the #2 seed, the Oklahoma Wesleyan University Eagles.

Going into this afternoon's game, the Royals held a record of 12-9-1 and the Eagles held an overall record of 10-2.

Warner found difficulty in their offensive efforts, as they only managed to score one goal after one hour of playing time off the foot of Samantha Warren, her 11th of the season, which was assisted by Rachel Deweerd.

The Eagles, however, managed to gear up their offense and score within the first 8 minutes of the game, and never relinquished their lead as they would add a total of 4 more goals by the end of the match. With an explosive offense, over the course of the season the Eagles have triply outscored the Royals, as they have scored 85 total goals and Warner has only scored 27.

Warner struggled to make it past the Eagles defense, as they only had 6 total shots, with 4 of them being on goal.
